Why matching method matters
Every playlist transfer tool does the same basic thing: take songs from one streaming service and find them on another. The difference is how they find them.
Text-based matching searches the destination platform by song name and artist. This works most of the time but can fail on remixes, live versions, regional variants, and songs that share a name.
ISRC-primary matching uses the International Standard Recording Code, a code that identifies a specific recording, as the FIRST thing it checks.
