Important Update: Spotify API Changes

What's changing and what it means for you

What's Happening

Spotify has restricted access for third-party apps. Direct Spotify connections are very limited. But you can still transfer your entire Spotify library — playlists, liked songs, albums, and artists — by uploading your Spotify data export.

How to Transfer from Spotify

  1. Go to spotify.com/account/privacy
  2. Request your data under "Download your data"
  3. Spotify emails you a JSON file (usually within a few hours)
  4. Upload it on SpotidSync and transfer everything
Go to Spotify Privacy Settings →

Common Questions

Why is Spotify limiting access?

Spotify announced these changes to "improve platform security." The new requirements effectively limit small developers while allowing established partners to continue operating.

What if I don't need Spotify?

Nothing changes for you! Tidal, Apple Music, and YouTube Music (Coming Soon) have no restrictions. You can continue using SpotidSync normally for these platforms.

Should I transfer now or wait?

You can transfer anytime by uploading your Spotify data. No waiting, no limits.

Can I get a refund if I'm not satisfied?

Absolutely. If you ever feel we haven't delivered on our promises, just email us for a full refund. 7-day refund policy for service issues.

Our Commitment

My name is Ron — audiophile, music producer, DJ, and founder of SpotidSync.

Our music libraries tell a lot about who we are. Each tune represents a memory, a moment, an experience.

My goal with SpotidSync is to make music catalog syncing effortless, so you can focus on what matters — the music.
