How ISRC-first matching works

Matching songs by name and artist alone sounds reasonable until you realize how many songs share similar names. You end up with the wrong remix, a live version instead of the studio cut, or a cover by a different artist.

Tunarc uses ISRC codes (International Standard Recording Codes), the same unique identifier the music industry uses to track recordings globally. Each distinct recording, such as a remix, edit or live version, has its own ISRC. When we match by ISRC, you get the exact recording, not a best guess.

No. Tunarc recreates your playlists in Spotify with the same names and track order. Each song is matched by ISRC first. 93.7% of processed tracks, albums and artists transferred or already in place (live counter, 8 Oct 2026). Unmatched tracks are listed in your transfer results so you can see exactly what did not carry over.
Tunarc uses Apple's official MusicKit JS framework. You authorize access directly in your browser through Apple's login page. Tunarc never sees your Apple ID password. Apple gives Tunarc a token that can read your library and, when Apple Music is the destination, add playlists and songs to it. You can disconnect Apple Music from your Tunarc dashboard at any time.
Yes. Spotify limits our app to 5 connected Spotify accounts at a time. When you buy Spotify Access a seat is reserved for you; you may wait if all 5 are taken. Your sync window starts when you connect Spotify: 4 hours, extending automatically up to 24 hours until your first transfer completes.
